Kuli Roberts has been known to be the “big mouth” of the industry, she always tells it like it is and doesn’t really care who it touches.
Being on radio and TV it seems you always have to watch what you say and when you say, Kuli just hasn’t adapted to that concept it seems.
Roberts is now the co-host of 180 with Bob on Kaya FM every morning with radio DJ Bob Mabena. While on the show Kuli Roberts decided to fire a few shots at Lerato Kganyago and DJ Tbo Touch.
Kuli touched on how Lerato is forever making it seem like she’s the most wanted TV personality in the industry at the moment, Kuli’s comment was based on article that was recently written about Lerato where she said that Etv and SABC were ‘fighting’ over her.
“Lerato makes it seem like she is the only personality who is going to be working with two channels and that’s just not true. Many other personalities do it.” Kuli said.
Kuli continues by saying that Lerato should stop being such an attention seeker and running to the media trying to get attention, next time she should come running with something that’s actually news worthy.
Kuli then moved from biting at Lerato to clawing into Tbo Touch and his American accent. They had a guest Andy and were discussing the Oscars. Andy then suggested that they should send him overseas to cover the Oscars in 2016. Would you like to guess what Kuli said?
“No you shouldn’t go to the US. Otherwise you will comeback with a fake American accent. We have enough Tbo Touchs.”
