Tebogo Lerole Reportedly Fires Sello Maake KaNcube From Anti-GBV Organization Following Abuse Allegations. We all made mistakes in the past but for some people, it not uncommon for the past to comeback and haunt you in the future. Veteran actor Sello Maake KaNcube has found himself in a pickle following allegations of domestic abuse.

According to reports, Sello has resigned from a well known anti-GBV organization ‘Act Now’ after the platforms director Tebogo Lerole and media personality JJ Tabane accused him of women abuse. The veteran actor confirmed that he parted ways with the organisation last week after his partners stabbed him in the back with the help of his bitter ex lover.

Speaking to Sowatan Live KaNcube stepped down as spokesperson for the organization after learning that Lerole and Tabane told business investor Khumo Moetse, who wanted to donate funds to the star-studded organisation, that they were booting the actor because he is a woman abuser. The actor goes on to share that his former business partner met with the donor in private and discouraged her from donating until he steps down from his position.

The actor claims Lerole and Tabane have been in communication with his former lover whom he has had a domestic dispute with in the past. The actor admitted to physically harming the woman in 2002 after they experienced “interrelationship violence” where is allegedly tore his clothes while forcing him to have sex. Following the incident, the pair apparently forgave one another and moved on from it.

“After the fight, I asked her to go to the police and get me arrested for what I had done to her. But she said she had forgiven me, basically, we forgave each other and moved on with our lives. This is something that I’m not proud of and still haunts me even today, and I wish I could have handled the situation differently,” he said.

The actor has also received professional help to handle his anger issues and claims to have never laid a hand on anyone else after that. KaNcube shared how disappointed he is that his business partners have undermined his efforts in the company and to assist the GBV pandemic.

Lerole has confirmed that he and Tabane did in fact meet with the donor in private however, he has denied speaking ill about him at the meeting.

“I swear I had nothing negative to say about him because to me he was a formidable force in the organisation and I hold him in high regards,” he said.

Tabane on the other hand claims the actor is a crook looking for attention and he did indeed advise Moetse that the actors participation in the organisation went against what it stands for. Moetse also confirmed that Tabane made her aware in the meeting that KaNcube was a woman abuser and discouraged her from funding Act Now whilst the actor was still on board.
