Now this is sad. Everyone who sympathized with Babes Wodumo and Kwesta for losing out at the Metro FM Music Awards over a week ago has moved on to other trending stories but the ‘Wololo’ singer herself is said to be taking it really badly. Babes Wodumo reportedly not taking her Metro FM loss well.
According to reports, Babes Wodumo took the loss really badly and was seen by several people “sobbing uncontrollably” when the winner of Song Of The Year was announced. The first time nominee lost out all four Awards she was nominated for.
This is not the first time Babes has been unlucky. She had previously lost SABC Song of the Year to Mroza Fakude. We’re not sure how the Van Damme song was bigger than Wololo when the first time we heard it was when it won SABC song of the year.
We totally get why Babes would feel like she’s being robbed at the Awards. At least she still has Mamphintsha as a shoulder to cry on.
