Lamiez Holworthy and her husband Khuli Chana are one of the many celebs who are currently living their best lives on holiday. Seeing that this year has been a total bust for everyone, social media has had an influx of celeb holiday content, especially in the Maldives.
The DJ and her rapper husband jetted off to the tropical destination for some much needed getaway time. Although Lamiez has been posting all the fun that she has been having with her hubby in the beautiful destination, it seems as though social media users are not buying it.
Holworthy found herself at the top of the twitter trends following a social media user who claimed that she and Khuli are very bored at their vacation. The streets of twitter have since been divided over the matter with some agreeing that the pair don’t seem to be having as much fun as they pretend to be having while others defended the couple claiming that not everything has to look like a rap video in order to be classified as fun.
The Metro FM DJ has since broken her silence following the buzz about her holiday on twitter and is choosing to take the high road and ignore twitter and its weird semantics. Lamiez has labelled the murmur as unnecessary and has opted to refrain from the social media platform and focus on living her best life.
“Let me log off. So unnecessary” she wrote.
Other local celebs who have also taken some time away from reality to enjoy the sandy beaches in the Maldives include 947 radio host Anele Mdoda and Miss SA and Miss Universe winner Zozibini Tunzi.
The Live Amp host recently had a health scare that landed her a visit to the hospital where she according to her had the most emotionally draining experience of her life. Lamiez expressed how livid she was over health workers who ambushed her for pictures while she was sick.
Lamiez had an unpleasant encounter at a local hospital when she was ambushed by nurses who acted like groupies. The TV personality reminded her followers that celebs are human before anything else so they should also be given equal treatment and respect like anybody else. She also shared how livid she was by the lack of empathy that the health workers had for not treating her like a human being.
