Can someone confidently name a South African footballer that doesn’t have baby mama drama?
It seems like every week a woman comes forward claiming that a soccer player isn’t paying maintenance or has been neglecting their child’s needs, crazy thing is these claims only come out when the footballer’s career is flourishing. *Kermit*
According to Move magazine Benni McCarthy has his own baby mamma drama after an ex is claiming that her baby is his.
Apparently Benni started dating 19-year-old Pearl Ndlovu in 2011 when he was still a Pirates player , and now the girls family claims that when Pearl gave birth, Benni ran away.
“I’m so angry with Pearl and Benni. Benni used to fly her around the country. He dumped her and now she’s a drug addict,” says Pearl’s sister, Sindi.
Pearl’s family says that they’ve always known about Benni and Pearl’s affair but all they want from him right now is to man up and be a father to his baby and taking care of his responsibilities.
“He is free to do a paternity test. He must do the honourable thing and be a father to his child,” says Pearl’s other sister, Nomfundo.
Percy Adams who is Benni’s agent and friend has since rubbished the family’s claims about Benni being the father of Pearl’s child and went on to ask why Pearl had not mentioned the child when they spoke last week.
Sjoe! Well we really hope that Benni sorts this one out quickly, no one wants their dirty laundry to be hung for the public like that.
