2017 has started off on a bad note for former Idols judge Mara Louw. The actress has revealed her daughter’s boyfriend lost his life after a shootout outside her home in Mzimhlophe, Soweto. Mara Louw’s daughter’s boyfriend shot dead outside her home.
Mara told Sowetan how she heard gun shots outside her home where her daughter and her boyfriend were sitting in his car. “In my mind I was like ‘who is still playing with firecrackers this time?’ But after the second and third shots, I realized that it was a gun,” she told the publication.
“On my way to the gate I saw her come in. We checked on her boyfriend who was shot in the arm. He was bleeding profusely. I have never seen so much blood come out of a human being.”
Unfortunately Mara’s daughter’s boyfriend died two days later whilst getting treatment in the hospital, two weeks ago.
