Bongani Fassie has broken his silence on the rumours surrounding his past relationship with reality star Buhle Sangweni. The two have been at the center of speculation about their interactions, but Bongani has now addressed the issue, sharing his side of the story.
According to Bona Magazine, speaking to Maphepha Ndaba via Instagram, Bongani made it clear that he has kept his distance from Buhle: “It is now almost 1 year since I have not seen Buhle Sangweni as she is in a relationship. I left Buhle and I intend to keep my distance because I’m not a home wrecker. Whoever is spreading this rumour about Buhle Sangweni probably doesn’t like me or her, and quite frankly I don’t care about whoever is hating on me and the progress I’m making for my children and myself.”
His statement comes after reports began circulating that he and Buhle were rekindling their romance, leading to questions about the current status of their relationship. Bongani’s response aimed to put the gossip to rest, making it clear that he respects Buhle’s new relationship and has no intention of interfering.
According to Zimoja, Bongani and Buhle’s relationship ended after a domestic violence incident at their Fourways apartment. Since their separation, Bongani briefly dated his manager, B’Queen, before that relationship ended as well. He later started dating his new manager, Kay Bhengu, but according to a close friend, she was also recently fired.
