In the world of fashion, age is just a number, and 13-year-old Mishka Boughan is the perfect example. This rising star from the Northern Cape has burst onto the international scene, proudly putting South Africa on the fashion map.
After being crowned Miss Teen Universe South Africa in 2022, Mishka made her dazzling debut at the 2024 Milan Fashion Week, where she stood out as the only African model to grace the runway.
Dressed to impress in a breathtaking gown from the Elsa Fairy 2024 collection, Mishka glided down the catwalk with a confidence that’s hard to believe for someone so young.
In a candid chat with SABC, she shared her thrilling experience, saying:
“The experience was amazing. It was a bit difficult because they all spoke Spanish, so I didn’t really understand, but I did make a lot of new friends. I used my hand skills to communicate with them, but it was a very nice opportunity and experience!”
Just weeks before her Milan debut, Mishka participated in the Miss Pre-Teen Universe competition held in Durban on March 24, where she dazzled the judges and was crowned the 2024 Miss Pre-Teen Universe.
With her new title, Mishka has not only showcased her modelling talent but also her vibrant personality and charm.
Mishka’s has also represented South Africa at the Mini Model World 2024 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where she joined young girls from across the globe, proving that the runway knows no borders.
