SA Celebs Lending A Hand At Cleaning Up The Country After Destruction Property Sustained During The Looting. It’s been a few day since the violent protests and looting began in certain parts of the country, and celebs have been doing what they can to speak for the voiceless on social media. The unrest that was triggered by the arrest of former president Jacob Zuma has also been driven by the mismanagement of fund by the government and their failure to lead.

Public figure such as Thuso Mbedu, Pearl Thusi and many more have expressed their devastation for the under privileged people who will be left without jobs or any form of income after the riots and the looting comes to an end. A campaign to clean up the country has kicked of in certain parts of the country and our favourite celebs are lending a hand.

Award winning DJ Prince Kaybee is one of the few public figure who has rolled up his sleeves and shown support by joining in on the cleanup of the country. Prince Kaybee took to his social media to share receipts of his efforts of bettering the country by helping the community of Daveyton and Mayfield pick up the pieces. The DJ expressed how inspired he was by the founder of the cleaning campaign Mbali Hlophe to help her community deal with the aftermath of the looting.

“It was an honor to serve with you @mbalihlophe . To the community of Daveyton we together managed to clean the Mayfield Square and Daveyton Mall, I’m inspired” he wrote.

This is not the first time that the DJ has shown support to a national cause as we have seen him become very active during the #FeesMustFall protests where he joined the students of Wits in protesting for the affordability of quality education

The Charlotte hitmaker is not the only celebs that was spotted lending a hand at cleaning up the country as DJ Shimza also took to social media to give a shoutout to those doing their part in their communities.

“Shout out to Clean Environment NGO and everyone that played their part in cleaning up our community” he wrote.

Good job guys!!!
