Uzalo actress Dawn King is one of the many South African celebs who are Sangomas in real life. She recently opened up about battling with the decision to answer to her calling having grown up in a Christian home. Dawn King opens up about being a sangoma.
“That was the most confusing time of my life because of the background I came from, which is Christian. People rushed to me and started praying for me but that didn’t help.
“My husband then came later and took me to a traditional healer to help me. At that time we were not sure what it was. We are not all called the same and that has been my path,” Dawn said.
