Taking to his Instagram account, Somizi shared a video of them together as they tease each other on who works more. The media personality claimed DJ Tira is the most hardworking man in the business.

The DJ on the other hand disagrees as they both laugh. Somizi said: “I’m at my last gig for the day and I bump into one of the most hard working man in the biz who probably has 4 more gigs tonight…[email protected] asipheli moya.

Meanwhile, Somizi and his husband Mohale Motaung have had enough of homophobic people and have decided to lead the pack in the fight against homophobia.

The idol SA judge is visibly distraught over the recent killings of Nathaniel Mbele,  known as Spokgoane, Andile Ntutela, who was known as Lulu and Sphamandla Khoza.

These three queer men were killed in the most violent ways, and South Africans are still yet to come to terms with why it happened in the first place.

According to reports from various news sites, Spokgoane was stabbed multiple times in his chest. Lulu was said to have been butchered then set alight. The man who killed him buried his body parts in his home. Lastly, Sphamandla was stabbed then buried in a ditch.

Somizi has decided to lead the charge against the attack on queer people, and he has taken further steps by visiting the family of Andile Ntutela.

He shared a photo of himself in front of his home in Gqeberha on his Twitter account and said he would be returning there on June 1, for the court hearing.

“Flew to Gqeberha this morning to give support to the family of the brutally murdered member of our LGBTIQ+ fam LULU…I’ll be back on the 1st June for the court hearing…#riplulu #ripspha #spokgoane #justiceforlulu,” he tweeted.

His husband Mohale hasn’t been left out of the fight and also added his voice and asked when will the killings stop?

He shared a statement from The Gay and Lesbian Alliance of South Africa (GLASA), who is calling for “harsher sentencing, the prioritization of LGBTQAI+ hate crimes and stricter legislation that will ensure that the LGBTQIA+ communities particularly in the townships and rural areas enjoy their constitutional freedom of equal opportunities, justice, and rights.”
