According to her, self love isn’t something girlie that many people on social media believe it is adding that people need communities, companionship, support and love.
She stated that life is actually meant to be shared and no amount of self love can substitute these things.
The post she made reads;
“Self love isn’t the girlie people on here make her to be. You can’t self love yourself out of loneliness or out of oppression. People need communities, companionship, support and love. Life is meant to be shared. No amount of self love can substitute these things.
The way people love weaponising self love against marginalized and isolated people on here is very dishonest. A part of loving yourself also means being honest about your needs and how you cannot fulfil them alone.”
