According to “People”, a source revealed that the lovebirds have been spending time together regularly, with Hurley visiting the 63-year-old country musician in Tennessee.
The source said, “Liz is glam, but fits in perfectly in Tennessee, too. She spent several days visiting Billy Ray. He loves having her around. She loves his music. And he loves the attention she gives him.”
The source added: “They are very different, but give off a great vibe together. She’s great for him. He’s been incredibly cheerful.”
According to the same source, the new couple’s relationship began years ago after they met while filming the 2022 holiday movie “Christmas in Paradise”.
“Liz is great and visited him for Easter. They’ve been seeing each other romantically for a little bit,” the source said. “And how lucky is he? Liz is lovely. She’s very warm, positive, and the best to be around.”
In an interview called “The Ty Bentli Show”, Cyrus opened up about their relationship for the first time that Hurley reached out to him unexpectedly when he was going through a rough patch in his life.
According to Cyrus, Hurley’s message read something along the lines of: “Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner.”
Before dating Hurley, Cyrus was married to an Australian singer, Johanna Rose Hodges, whose stage name is Firerose.
The pair met in 2021 and confirmed their relationship later in August 2022.
In October 2023, Hodges and Cyrus tied the knot and announced the news on their official social media accounts.
However, in May 2024, the pair quietly went their separate ways after Cyrus filed for divorce just seven months into their marriage
