Zanele Potelwa Interviews Michael B. Jordan at Sinners London Premiere

South African media personality Zanele Potelwa just had a major career moment — interviewing Hollywood star Michael B. Jordan and the cast of the new film Sinners at its premiere in London!

Thanks to Warner Bros., Zanele was invited to cover the red carpet for Sinners, a new horror movie written and directed by Ryan Coogler. She spoke to the cast for segments that aired on Expresso and 5FM, making her one of the few South Africans to be part of such an exclusive international event.

Dressed to impress, Zanele rocked an outfit from IMPRINT South Africa on the red carpet and later wore a stunning MaXhosa dress for her sit-down interviews with Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan, and other cast members including Wunmi Mosaku, Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, and Jack O’Connell.

Clearly emotional and proud of the moment, Zanele took to social media to share her excitement. She wrote, “IT HAPPENED GUYS. Jesus did the things. Interviews with @michaelbjordan, Ryan Coogler, @wunmimosaku, @haileesteinfeld, @milescaton, Jack O’Connell. My interviews with the cast of ‘Sinners’ are going out this week!! I want to say thank you so so much!!! Your messages, shares and words genuinely mean SO MUCH to me. As I said, All Glory goes to Jesus. And a HUGE thank you to @warnerbros_sa.”

She also shared a special message about her red carpet look and what the night meant to her: “Jer 29:11. A London Premiere moment in @imprint_za with @warnerbros_sa. The compliments I got in this dress (and thank you for helping me decide to do off the shoulder my Champions) and Thank you Jesus for an amazing night. A huge celebration of @sinnersmovie – Ryan Coogler’s new movie and his first solo project writing AND directing.”

Sinners, which premiered on 18 April 2025, follows the story of twin brothers trying to escape their troubled past by returning to their Mississippi hometown — only to find that an even darker evil is waiting for them.

For Zanele, this unforgettable experience shows her rising star power and her ability to shine on global stages — proving that South African talent is making waves worldwide.
