The radio change season is in full effect and some of the country stations have begun announcing their lineups for 2025/2026.

Ukhozi FM, Africa’s biggest radio station, has welcomed the return of celebrated actress and radio personality Sthandwa Nzuza.

Having previously graced the station’s airwaves, Nzuza, who is presenting a show on Moja Love makes a comeback to host “Chillaz” on Saturdays from 3pm to 6pm. Nzuza replaces Samkelo Khetha Gwala, who had hosted the show.

Nkosinathi Mshengu has replaced presenter Siya Mhlongo for the 8pm to 12am slot from Monday to Thursday.

Mhlongo, a motivational speaker and “man of God” had been on the station for a while, however, last year made headlines for the wrong reasons after assault allegations were levelled against him.

In September, Ukhozi FM management confirmed that Mhlongo had requested to take some time off from work to deal with a personal matter.

Maskandi music enthusiasts are in for a treat with a fresh voice, renowned IsiZulu news anchor Vusizwe Langa  joining one of Ukhozi FM’s most prominent shows, “Sigiya Ngengoma.” Langa will co-host the show alongside Bingelela Mpanza on Saturdays between 9am and 12pm.

Ukhozi FM’s Acting Business Manager, Busani Mthembu, expressed gratitude to Khathide “Tshatha” Ngobe and Thembeka Zondo-Cele for their invaluable contributions, particularly for stepping in to host “Sigiya Ngengoma” and “Eshilo” following the untimely passing of Bheka ‘Beekay’ Mchunu and Zanele Mbokazi.

Mthembu said, “We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Tshatha and Thembeka for their commitment and dedication during a difficult time. They stepped in seamlessly and ensured that these beloved shows continued to resonate with our audience.
