Miss World South Africa 2024, Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg, recently took to Instagram to announce that she is the ambassador for Smile Foundation, a non-profit organisation.
Founded in 2007, Smile Foundation is a dedicated non-profit organisation that helps transform the lives of children who are affected by facial abnormalities and severe burns through the best surgical and psychological care.
On Instagram, the law student wrote: “I am delighted to announce my official ambassadorship with @smilefoundationsa, a foundation dedicated to giving children a better chance at life.
“Their incredible work transforms the lives of children affected by facial abnormalities and severe burns by providing the best possible surgical and psychological care.”
She added, “Together, we are committed to helping children live a life filled with confidence and possibilities, regardless of their circumstances.”

Van Rensburg is also a brand ambassador for MiDesk Global, which is a South African innovation that is dedicated to equipping learners who do not have the proper learning equipment with comfortable and efficient learning equipment to create a comfortable and efficient educational environment.
As the second ever Miss World South Africa, Van Rensburg is currently the youngest beauty queen to win the title, and her work as the current reigning Miss World SA is incredible and aligns with her advocacy, which is to empower women, education and youth development.
The 18-year-old was crowned in October 2024 and will represent South Africa at the 72nd Miss World pageant that is going to take place on May 31 in Hyderabad, Telangana, in India, where 120 participants from all over the world will be competing for the prestigious title.
