In addition to winning the award, Minnie was also featured on the cover of Forbes Africa in their #Over30Under50 issue. Made the list, was invited to speak at The Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit, and walked away with an award later on that evening. In early February, Forbes Africa announced that Minnie Dlamini would be part of the prestigious Forbes Africa Over 30 Under 50 list for March. The magazine described Minnie as a woman who has turned challenges into opportunities, particularly in her 30s. Minnie herself shared her thoughts with Forbes Africa, saying, “What I want women in entertainment to know is that I don’t want them to be limited by just being on screen. There’s so much more in this industry. But more than that though, I want people to look at my journey and realize that I didn’t do things conventionally. I didn’t do things the same way everyone did.”
Minnie attended the Forbes Africa awards alongside her boyfriend, plastic surgeon Dr. Brian Monaisa. She wore a stunning black dress that highlighted her figure, featuring a thigh-high slit and tassels material covering her arms. The couple looked proud as they celebrated her achievement.
