After welcoming her third child in December, gospel singer Ntokozo Mbambo has shared a heartfelt glimpse into the moments leading up to her baby’s arrival. The talented star recently took to social media to share a beautiful throwback from her baby shower, capturing the love and joy surrounding her.
In celebration of the month of love, Ntokozo posted a stunning picture from the occasion, where she looked radiant in a royal purple silk dress, surrounded by her closest friends and family who were all dressed in white. The image radiated warmth, joy, and a deep sense of gratitude.
“In this month of love, I want to throwback to this special day and love of these amazing women. I am grateful for each one of them. I wish I had taken more pictures with everyone because they have my heart forever,” she wrote in the caption, expressing her appreciation for the support and love from those closest to her.
The gospel star had kept her pregnancy largely private, especially as her due date approached. In fact, she was so private about the news that sources close to the singer shared with TshisaLIVE that she and her husband, Nqubeko Mbatha, had kept everything under wraps to avoid media attention.
A source close to the couple revealed to TshisaLIVE, “She has decided to tell her management that she’ll be taking time off. The Crown Gospel Awards are around the corner and her attendance will cause too much attention as she is in her final stages of her pregnancy.”
It was also noted that the couple had chosen to keep their children’s photos private. Their two children, aged 13 and 11, have not been featured in any public posts. “If you haven’t noticed, she has been rocking kaftans and doesn’t post anything that shows her stomach,” said the source, adding that Ntokozo has been glowing throughout her pregnancy.
Ntokozo’s management later confirmed the news, stating, “She has been committed to attending several engagements in the coming weeks. However, she is not in a position to honour them as she takes the time to rest.” They also apologized for any inconvenience caused by her absence, asking for understanding during this special time in her life.
