Former EFF spokesperson and MP Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has refused to be a co-author of a book titled “The Three Betrayers” that advocate Dali Mpofu has jokingly said that he, MK Party secretary-general Floyd Shivambu and Ndlozi must write.

Mpofu made the playful suggestion on X, with a tweet in which he shared a picture of all three of them, but Ndlozi was having none of it.

Mpofu took a jab at the EFF leader Julius Malema, saying they must write a book according to Malema’s recent statement.

“What a week…Now I know why they say a week is a long time in politics!!

“In the middle of everything else, the MK SG & I found time to break bread with ‘the one who sings beautifully’.

“Maybe we should co-author the long-awaited bestseller book entitled “The Three Betrayers”, the tweet reads.

Malema recently said if he were to write a book about Shivambu and Mpofu, the chapter would be called “The Two Betrayers”.

“The heading will be two betrayers, the heading will be that and that’s what they contribute,” he said.

In response to Mpofu’s tweet and clearing his name from the shenanigans, Ndlozi said “So Petty! I totally reject this tweet, both its letter and spirit.”

Last week Ndlozi heaped praise on Malema for his role in realigning politics in South Africa.

Ndlozi resigned from the EFF last week after being suspended since December. He was also barred from attending the party’s elective conference.

He has now joined PowerFM as a host of PowerTalk. He will start in March, the company announced.

Ndlozi’s exit from the red berets had been widely speculated within political circles following his suspension from party activities.

Political analysts suggested that Julius Malema’s actions against Ndlozi were a direct consequence of Shivambu’s resignation from the party.

Mpofu also resigned to join MKP led by former president Jacob Zuma.
