WATCH: Moshe Ndiki opens up about love, heartbreak, and healing after his failed marriage

If there’s one thing about Moshe Ndiki, it’s that he keeps it real. The actor and TV host is never shy to spill the tea on his life, and his latest chat with Lungelo KM on “Engineer Your Life” was no different.

Ndiki opened up about his failed marriage to reality star and singer, Phelo Bala, dropping some hard truths about love, heartbreak and healing.

When Ndiki and Bala got together, they were one of Mzansi’s favourite couples; young, in love, and proudly living their truth. But behind the cute couple pics and lovey-dovey moments, things weren’t as rosy.

Their marriage, which lasted two years before ending in 2020, had its fair share of drama. There were reports of cheating, domestic abuse allegations, and a lot of back and forth.

At one point, Bala filed for a protection order against Moshe, accusing him of assault. Moshe hit back with his own version of events, claiming he was actually the one being abused. It was messy, public, and a lot for both of them.

In his interview, Ndiki admitted that while he did cheat, it wasn’t unprovoked.

“Towards the end, I cheated because I had already forgiven cheating seven times. I will never forget it. I retaliated by cheating as well instead of just leaving. I enabled it,” he confessed.

He also reflected on how their relationship played out.

“We had the same vision. I was ready, and I knew myself, but I think he was still battling his own demons. I wouldn’t say he was bad; he was just struggling. I tried my best to help him heal, but I ended up enabling a lot of actions in our marriage.”

After calling it quits with Bala, Ndiki found love again with Mzie, but that relationship didn’t last either. They started dating in 2021, and by 2024, it was over.

While Ndiki hasn’t spilt too much about what went wrong the second time around, he’s made it clear that he’s now all about his kids.

In 2023, Ndiki announced he was becoming a dad through surrogacy, welcoming twin boys into his world. And if you follow him, you already know that he’s obsessed with his babies!

“Everything I do now is with them in mind. I don’t want to rush into another relationship without fully knowing a person. I’ve learnt my lesson,” he shared.

Despite the heartbreaks, Ndiki still believes in love.

“I believe in love. I just need to be more careful about how I give it,” he admitted.

But right now, his focus is on his boys, his career and living his best life.
