Jacob Zuma won’t be attending SONA after all

Zuma will be in court in Pietermaritzburg instead.

Former President Jacob Zuma will not be attending today’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) to be delivered by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The ex-President had confirmed that he would attend, in what would have been his first appearance at the annual address since he resigned in 2018.
