Qatar Airways has taken a dynamic leap in passenger engagement by unveiling its latest in-flight safety video, featuring comedian and actor Kevin Hart as the airline’s Global Brand Ambassador.
Set to premiere in select flights in December 2024, this star-studded production aims to capture the attention of travellers with compelling visuals and humorous performances while delivering essential safety instructions.
The innovative safety video merges the seriousness of flight protocols with a touch of entertainment and is directed by acclaimed Hollywood film-maker, Tim Story.
Hart is joined by a roster of social media influencers and renowned personalities, including supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who assists him in demonstrating how to reach the overhead lockers.
The video also features Anwar and Amal Jibawi, who remind passengers about the importance of securing their seatbelts, while comedy sensation Khaby Lame brings his signature charm to the screen.
Additionally, influencer Adam Waheed provides a light-hearted depiction of how to put on an oxygen mask, ensuring that vital information is conveyed in a memorable way.

Commenting on the safety video, Mohammed Al-Meer, CEO of Qatar Airways Group, articulated the airline’s commitment to passenger safety.
“At Qatar Airways, the safety of our passengers and crew, is our highest priority. Our main ambition for this project was to design an in-flight safety video that passengers will not want to miss,” said Al-Meer.
Highlighting the increasing trend of passengers becoming distracted by personal devices during the safety brief, he emphasised that engaging celebrities was a strategic choice to amplify the message.
Known for his infectious humour and larger-than-life personality, Hart also expressed his excitement about the project.
“Buckle Up! This safety video is unlike anything you have seen onboard a luxury airline before. I have loved partnering with Qatar Airways to produce a video that passengers will not only pay attention to but remember for a long time coming, or at least until their next flight,” said Hart.
