Celebrity chefs Mmule Setati, Lorna Maseko, Mogau Seshoene (The Lazy Makoti) and Nigella Lawson will set the tone for the festive season as they invite viewers to their kitchens.

S3 has lined-up a variety of festive cooking specials for viewers to indulge in this December.

From vibrant menus to creative décor, these chefs will bring the spirit of the festive season right into your home every Monday at 6pm, starting from December 2 to 30.

The channel kicks off with “Feasting with the Tribe” with Setati.

In this premiere episode, Setati will share her favourite recipes designed to inspire home chefs, offering a rich exploration of diverse culinary traditions from across the African continent.

Each dish crafted is a celebration of local flavours, set to tantalise the taste buds of families and friends gathering during this joyous season.

S3’s festive menu also presents “Celebrate With Lorna – The Christmas Special”, which will air on Mondays December 9 and 16.

Award-winning international chef Maseko will take the audience on an exhilarating food and décor journey that embodies a quintessential South African Christmas.

Collaborating with a top Johannesburg event planner, Maseko will showcase how to host the ultimate festive celebration, from conceptualising the event to charming DIY décor creations.

Filmed as a reality show, viewers will enjoy candid insights as Maseko documents her planning process, coupled with useful tips on menu creation, shopping effectively and enhancing the overall festive ambience.

On December 23, “The Lazy Christmas with Mogau” offers a heart-warming view of family traditions, spotlighting the beauty of a shared meal during the festive period.

This episode captures the essence of togetherness as each family member contributes their unique skills and cherished dishes, from the mother’s traditional favourite to the father’s braai expertise, peppered with the sister’s elegant table setting.

The festive month closes with “Nigella’s Amsterdam Christmas” on December 30.
