Minnie Dlamini Dazzles in Five Stunning Outfits at the 30th SAMAs

The South African Music Awards (SAMAs) returned for their 30th edition, gathering music lovers at the Gallagher Convention Centre to honour the best in South African music. Media personality Minnie Dlamini took center stage as host, dazzling the audience with her vibrant energy and a series of breathtaking outfits that celebrated South African culture and style.

As the night’s host, Minnie impressed with multiple outfit changes that brought a unique blend of tradition, glamour, and local pride. Her red-carpet look was a custom gown crafted by Africa Fashion International, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

For her opening appearance, Minnie embraced the theme of “Proudly South African” in a show-stopping dress. The dress was inspired by rapper Doja Cat’s look at the 2024 Global Festival, featuring vibrant beadwork in South Africa’s flag colours, reminiscent of azucar fireworks. Her hair was a nod to icons Thembi Seete and the late Lebo Mathosa from the 90s group Boom Shaka, blending nostalgia with a modern twist.

Minnie also paid tribute to the legendary Mahotella Queens with an outfit by Madyibi that featured a traditional Zulu beaded top, a tutu skirt, and a Zulu hat, honouring the heritage and history of South African pop culture.

In another segment, Minnie lit up the room in a striking yellow gown, adding a warm glow to the stage. She later wore a silver-starred skirt, knee-high silver boots, and a shimmering silver top with chains, a look she shared was inspired by rising global star Tyla.
