Big Brother Titans winner Khosi Twala, a former journalist at Jacaranda FM, is building her brand with the relaunch of her clothing line, Active Lifestyle. The 27-year-old reality star recently revealed a new collection aimed at promoting body positivity, drawing inspiration from people who have shaped her life.
In an interview with Daily Sun, Khosi shared, “The main inspiration behind the brand was just body positivity. I wanted every woman of all shapes, sizes, and colour to feel comfortable, embrace their body, and just go out there feeling like the best versions of themselves.”
Each piece in Khosi’s new line carries special meaning, with names inspired by her loved ones and loyal fans. “For example, we have a jumper called the Reign Jumper, inspired by my fan base, Khosi Reigns. It resembles what a soldier would put on when going to war because I feel like they fought for me,” Khosi explained. She also introduced the Lulu Set, named after her niece, and the Rose Set, honouring her mother, Rose. “There was a lot of emotion put into it,” she added. “This collection pretty much speaks volumes about milestones and celebrating them.”
Khosi hopes her clothing line will encourage women to feel empowered in their bodies. “I wanted to do body positivity mainly because of social media. People see all these incredible women with these incredible bodies. But sometimes it’s just filters, and the pictures are not real. Embrace how we look and who we are. We don’t need to be picture-perfect,” she said.
Alongside her clothing line, Khosi is also bringing back her popular YouTube show, Khoffee With Khosi. “Khoffee With Khosi is coming back, and we’re still trying to see if we’ll stick to interviewing Big Brother contestants or interview other people,” she teased.
