Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has thanked the Soweto giants after leaving the club to take the reins at AmaZulu as co-coach alongside Vusimuzi Vilkazi.
The 51-year-old Zwane, who has spent decades with the Glamour Boys, both as a player and coach, was officially announced as one of the new coaches by the KwaZulu-Natal club last week.
Zwane and Vilakazi face the challenge of revitalising Usuthu after a disappointing start to the season, with the club yet to earn a point from their first three matches.

The duo’s appointment to the hot seat comes after the sacking of Spanish tactician Pablo Franco Martin on Monday last week.
AmaZulu are currently in 16th place in the league table and will face high-flying Orlando Pirates in their next league encounter.
‘10111’, as Zwane is affectionately known, expressed his gratitude to the club, adding that his time at the Chiefs has shaped his life for the better.
“I would definitely like to extend my deepest gratitude to Dr. Motaung for the unwavering support, guidance and love throughout my Chiefs career as a player and a coach.
“His belief in me has allowed me to grow from a player to a development coach and ultimately to the head coach. I am truly thankful for the opportunities the club has provided me, which have shaped not just my career but my life. So, thank you to Kaizer Chiefs and thank you to the chairman,” Zwane said.
