South African Police Service (SAPS) members have arrested a 28-year-old woman in Tseki village (Free State Province) on a charge for rape, she is currently detained in jail awaiting her court appearance.
According to the saps news report, it’s alleged that a woman saw a 14-year-old boy playing in the street and she called him to her house, when the boy arrived at her house, she undressed him and raped him, and gave him some cash to not tell anyone.
The young boy went home and related the incident to her mother, the mother went to a local police station and opened a charge for rape, SAPS members responded swiftly to this information and they proceeded to the suspect’s house and arrested her.
She is currently detained in jail and will appear before the Tseki Magistrate court on Monday, 11 September 2023, to face a charge for rape.
