The Grade 8 pupil reportedly could not attend school this week after she was forcefully removed from her classroom. A video allegedly capturing the dispute has since gone viral on social media.
A man identified as Andries Booysen was spotted forcefully removing the grade 8 pupil with dreadlocks and her mother from the school.
The founder and commander in chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters Julius Sello Malema had reacted to this news and asking Andries Booysen to ask for forgiveness.
” Whoever knows Andries Booysen ask him to say sorry and allow the child back into school by Monday if he knows what’s good for him and the school. He must offer to pay for professional counselling of the child.”, says Commander in chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters Julius Sello Malema.
Fifty-one-year-old Andries Booysen has been released on R2 000 bail after appearing in the Midrand Magistrate’s Court, north of Johannesburg, in connection with the alleged assault incident at Crowthorne Christian Academy at Midrand.
