MaMkhize Reveals Why She Rejected The Offer To Join Hit Mzansi Magic TV Show #Umkhokha. She wouldn’t be MaMkhize if she wasn’t all about making big moves and the esteemed businesswoman may have another one up her sleeve. Mzansi Magic has a number of shows that have TV lovers glued to their screen and one of them is hit TV show Umkhokha. The show has trended multiple times on twitter as viewers sang praises to the actors.
The TV series has recently wrapped up with season one and is gearing up for a second season. Word through the grapevine was that MaMkhize was set to be joining the cast. Shauwn has confirmed that the idea was thrown in the air however, it might not be happening. Apparently, the idea came at the wrong time and Mkhize declined the offer because she was focused on purchasing her Royal AM football club.
“They wanted me to come in but by the time I was supposed to come in, that’s when I had my issues with soccer and had to buy a new club. I was committed to starting a new club so I couldn’t be in Umkhokha,” she told TshisaLIVE.
Shauwn avoided spilling too much tea but urged viewers to watch the space. The businesswoman didn’t rule out the idea of possibly joining the show at a later period so we have our fingers crossed that this may happen.
Following her successful reality show, Mamkhize was approached by Uzalo for a role on the popular TV show. After deriving fans of season 2 of her reality show, MaMkhize thought the role would be the perfect way for her fans to get what they want.
“Uzalo approached my PR team. When my PR team presented the idea to me, I thought let me use this opportunity to give my fans what they want.” she said.
Shauwn played the role of a mysterious, wealthy woman, with her eye set on buying the local community church. Her role not only ruffled feathers but also caused much destruction to the church. Fans absolutely loved Mkhize for the role and we have no doubt that they would have loved her for this one too.
