Sonia Mbele Set To Produce Upcoming Season Of Hit Reality TV Show. Actress turned producer Sonia Mbele is at the top of her game right now and we love to see it. After introducing her latest Alkaline water business venture, Mbele has bagged another major gig for her production company Sonia Mbele Films. After producing two seasons of Real Housewives Of Joburg, it was reported that Mbele would be handing over the reigns to another production company for the upcoming third season.
We are excited to now confirm that Sonia is back and she will be producing the fabulous third season of Real Housewives Of Johannesburg. According to the Sunday World publication, Â sources close to the negotiations have confirmed that Mbele will indeed be producing the third season of the show.
It was confirmed last year that Mbele would not be producing the show and other production companies apparently fought to take over the show however, Mbele pitched multiple times to MultiChoice in order to get her show back and she clearly did a great job. A source further revealed that there was a contract in place between the production company and MultiChoice, giving Sonia the green light to produce the show.
The show is reportedly going to be airing this coming October and we are super excited for all the drama. Upon its return, the show will come with a few changes after it was confirmed by reports that three ladies from the cast will not be returning to the upcoming third season of the show.
RHOJ OG’s Christall Kay and Brinnette Seopela are said to have been axed by the show while new comer DJ Tira’s wife Gugu Khathi is also said to have been booted from the cast.
This after Kay took the legal action against Khathi and Seopela when they attacked her following an argument they had at a club in Pretoria. The production was halted after Christall was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries that included swollen blue eye and a busted lip.
Sonia is a very buy woman as her production company is also the producers of the popular hit reality TV show Pastor’s Wives, which is also set to be returning for a brand new season and fans of the show are really excited for that as well.
