Shudufhadzo Musida To Represent Mzansi At The 2021 Miss World Pageant. Former Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida is taking her pageantry to the next level. The time for major pageants has come and we are excited to see how our girls preparing to rep our country. Musida is gearing up for the upcoming Miss World pageant and we are already counting down the days.

Taking to Instagram, the Miss South Africa organization shared a video of Musida making preparations for the big day. In the video, Shudu can be seen shopping for a luggage bag to take with on her trip. The Miss World 2021 pageant will take place on December 16, 2021 in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum.

Shudu has definitely fulfilled her duty as Miss South Africa during her reign and is still making her country very proud. After taking over the crown from Zozibini, Musida devoted her time to changing the world one good deed at a time and through her mental health awareness and wellness, she has made a huge impact in many peoples lives.

Earlier in the year, Musida launched her mental health initiative #MindfulMondays, together with the SA Depression and Anxiety Group (Sadag), on her Instagram account. Shudu pledged solidarity with people who struggle with mental health, revealing that even as Miss SA, she also has her own struggles resonates with many individuals who also struggle with mental health issues.

“I’m not as strong as I’d like to be on most days, and sometimes after mindful Mondays I find myself learning and healing through the collectiveness of the cause. I think I’m explaining this because I want people to know that it’s okay to not be okay but they’re not alone. I’m Miss South Africa but I too have struggles and I can only hope that with the little I do through mindful Mondays people can know that they’re not alone. I’m with them” she wrote.

Shudu also inspired many children through her book titled Shudu Finds Her Magic, focused on a very relevant topic for today which is bullying. Musida describes the book as her heart captured on a page and hope the book stands by its purpose which is to build the courage of children and also teach them valuable life lessons.

There are some moments in your life which you dream about but then to see it in real life, something tangible, something to hold. Now, that is something! I am filled with so much pride and joy to present this book authored by myself with beautiful illustrations by Chantelle and Burgen Thorne. A piece of my heart captured on a page, written especially for kids. A story of struggles and hope. Of falling down and getting back up and of the incredible journey we call life” she wrote.

Musida has opened up to the public about the bullying she faced as a young girl, making reference to an incident where she was physically assaulted by a group of children. The pageant queen describes the book as her heart captured on a page and hopes the book stands by its purpose which is to build the courage of children and also teach them valuable life lessons.
