Pic! Simphiwe Dana Reveals Her Car Was Stolen. Bad things happen to good people and unfortunately award winning singer Simphiwe Dana has sound herself in a sticky situation. Dana has taken to social media to ask tweeps if they can perhaps track a valuable item of hers that was recently stolen.
Taking to twitter, Dana revealed the heartbreaking news of her vehicle that was stolen a few hours ago. According to the musician the black SUV was stolen at the panel beater’s shop by one of the employees.
Simphiwe shared her registration number for the vehicle just incase anyone were to spot it. Social media users flooded the singer with messages of comfort and gave tips on what actions she should take against the company.
“My car just got stolen about 3 hours ago at a Panelbeater’s by one of their employees. Registration FR77KR GP” she wrote.
She has not revealed whether or not she has opened a case of theft at the police station, but we hope she gets back what is rightfully hers.
Dana is not the first celeb to be target by criminals for their car as popular DJ Shimza experienced the same misfortune a few years ago. The took to twitter to reveal his black Mercedes Benz G63 had been stolen out of his garage at his Blue Valley Golf Estate home between Midrand and Centurion.
“My car has been stolen out of my garage from Blue Valley Golf Estates in Centurion, license plate FN 23 MB GP, please contact @sapoliceservice or call 0732568494 should you have any information that may lead to recovery of the car,” he wrote.
Unfortunately the DJ’s car was never found however, his insurance did settle the car after their investigation with no issues.
