Thuli Phongolo Reveals Which Upcoming Production She Is Part Of. Thuli Phongolo has graced some of the most popular TV shows including Generations and Rockville. Fans of the DJ will be happy to know that they will be seeing the actress on the small screen once again after being cats on an upcoming Showmax production. Without revealing too much, Phongolo confirmed that she is part of the new Hlomu The Wife series and we are so excited.

The show which debuts in November already has TV lovers excited not only for the thrilling storyline but also the star studded cast. Taking to twitter, Thuli shared how supportive her colleagues on the show are and how much she has enjoyed working with inspiring actors.

“The support we give each other on ‘Hlomu’ is heartwarming! Thoroughly enjoying working with these formidable actors! My goodness” she wrote.

Thuli Phongolo has been working hard as a talented influencer, actress and DJ and is all about making money moves in the industry. Thuli revealed on the social media platform just how much of a busy woman she is and is involved in three running campaigns, acting gigs, fully booked DJ-ing gigs, new music as well as other major contracts under her company.

Showmax has been teasing The Wife, which is an adaptation of Dudu Dube’s romance novel titled Hlomu The Wife. The story is a love story that takes place in the South African township. A young female journalist named Mahlomu falls in love with a taxi driver named Mqhele Zulu. Even though aspects of Mqhele’s personality and past make her uncomfortable, but Hlomu is happy either way.

Thuli has yet to reveal details about her character however, the platform has announced through their twitter account that Skeem Saam actress Mbalenhle will be playing the role of Hlomu and we are super excited. The show will be premiering November 11th and is set to star many familiar faces including the likes of Sipho Ndlovu, Abdul Khoza, Mondli Makhoba, Thulane Shange, Linda Majola, Bongani Gumede, Dumisani Dlamini, Siyabonga Shibe and Zikhona Sodlaka.
