Society has made such high beauty standard especially for women which pits uanessacry pressure on them to always look their best. This new standard of what beauty looks like has also been cast upon new mom’s who feel the need to loose all the pregnancy weight as soon as they give birth.

Radio and TV presenter Relebogile Mabotja welcomed her bundle of joy earlier this year and is choosing to embrace her post pregnancy body. The Unpacked host cleansed out time lines with a little body positivity following her social media appreciation post showing her new “mom bod” some love.

The mother of one opened up about the challenging journey it took to get her to the point of loving and accepting herself however, she has fallen in love with herself all over again. Mabotja is extremely proud to have successfully carried her child to term and also to be living a healthy life all thanks to her body.

She also toasted to self love and appreciation, having never given up on herself even when the road was tough. Relebogile posted a sexy photo of herself wearing black matching underwear and looking super sexy with an out of this world face beat.

“Mom Bod…It’s taken a long time to love you and I’m so glad I do. Look at you!!! Carrying life and keeping it nourished after all you have been through. We really have come so far and I am grateful I never gave up on you. Here’s to self love and self appreciation” she wrote.

Relebogile is not the first celeb mother who has opened up about having to learn to love their bodily changes post pregnancy.

Actress, businesswoman and DJ Omuhle Gela and Simphiwe Ngema have opened up on social media about how they put so much pressure on themselves to bounce back after giving birth to a baby. The ladies have since opted to take their time by loose weight the healthy way and have advised other moms on social media to do the same.
