See Inside: Full List Of Royalty Soapie Awards Winners 2021. Local actors have been putting on the performances of their lives on the small screen to keep TV lovers entertained and now it is time to reward them for their efforts. Recently the Royalty Soapie Awards announced all the nominees for the year 2021 and the moment of truth is finally here.

The 5th Royalty Soapie Awards were held at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre on Saturday night September 18 where our favourite on screen characters walked the red carpet and were called up to receive their awards on stage. DiepCity, which led the pack when it comes nominations, took the most number of wins as they collected a total of seven wins.

Although her father recently passed away, actress and awards founder Winnie Ntshaba was also present at the ceremony where she hosted interviews with the press and made an appearance on stage. The ceremony saw television A-listers from Katlego Danke to Candice Modiselle, Moshidi Motshegwa, Phuti Khomo, Senzo Radebe and more.

Our girl Jessica Nkosi also won an award for Outstanding Female Villain for her role as Thando Sebata on The Queen. The actress took to Instagram to celebrate the win expressing how happy she is about the win and has her fans to thank for the achievement.

she wrote.

The ceremony and red carpet were recorded for TV but will only air on SABC1 Saturday 2 October at 19h30
