MacG On Whether He Felt Preyed On By Somizi In Resurfaced Viral Interview. When it rains it pours and one person who has been feeling the rain is veteran Tv personality Somizi Mhlongo. This follows abuse allegations that were made against him by his estranged husband in an audio clip that was leaked. The reality star has since been put on ice by many businesses who had a working relationship with him until a further investigation is done.
Somizi found himself in more hot water following an old interview clip that resurfaced of MacG interviewing Somizi. The clip has raised eyebrows after Somizi can be heard asking why he missed the opportunity of taking advantage of him while he was vulnerable . MacG’s opened up to Somizi about the downward spiral he went on after being fired from another radio station.
Mhlongo then asked the YouTuber how he coped with his depression and admitted to abusing alcohol and sex to manage his stress.
“Damn! Where was I, let me tell you why…this is when i was supposed to pounce because i’ve always had a crush on you” Somizi said.”
Twitter instigators are now dragging Somizi for preying on MacG and are accusing the SA Idols judge of sexually harassing the DJ. Social media users have been encouraging him to take action against the the reality star if he felt like he was a victim. The Podcast And Chill host has since broken his silence over the video, clearing the air over how he felt towards the backlash.
“No man, I didn’t feel preyed on. i know he was just joking” he said.
On his latest episode of Podcast and Chill, MacG spoke on have misinterpreted the context of the video because of the current allegations that are against Mhlongo pertaining to his marriage.
