Former Generations actress Sophie Ndaba is making a comeback to the small screen after taking time off and focusing on other projects. The Lockdown actress has bagged herself a new gig on e.TV’s latest telenovela House Of Zwide. The show has since been making waves on social media, with viewers sharing how intrigued they are by the fresh storyline and fresh new faces.
Taking to her social media story House Of Zwide’s Winnie Ntshaba who plays the role of Faith Zwide posted a teaser of Sophie’s grand entrance on the drama and it looks like it’s going to be one to remember. Sophie hinted a month ago on social media that she was on set shooting for a new show and the time has arrived for her to make her debut.
According to reports, the actress will be debuting on the show in one of the episodes that will be airing this week and fan’s of the show are super excited to see what she bring to the table. Not much detail about her character have been revealed by the production but what we do know is that she is going to enter with a bang.
This after the actress has been trending since yesterday, following the diss track released by her son detailing the abuse that she suffered at the hands of her estranged husband max Lichaba. The song is titled My Step Father Is A Devil performed by Lwandle “Ocean L” Ndaba details the abusive acts and infidelity that Max Lichaba committed during his four-year marriage to the actress.
According to the lyrics of the song, Max drove Sophie into depression and used her for money and fame. Lwandle claims that releasing the song was a relief after staying silent about the trauma sustained by the family out of respect for his mother. The 21-year-old Music Performance student shared that music was the best way for him to channel his frustration and he is happy that his mother finally got the courage to leave her now estranged husband.
Max responded to the allegations claiming that he would never harm the people he supports nor has he ever pit his hands on Sophie while they were married.
