Musa Mthombeni Reveals His Battle With COVID-19. Its hard to come across someone who has not been affected by COVID-19 at this stage of the pandemic. We have until lost many entertainers in the industry from COVID related complications and now that new strains are being discovered, more celebs are revealing their experience with the dreaded virus.
Due to the nature of their work celebs are more prone to contracting the virus. We would only image that the likelihood of infection for a celeb who is also a frontline worker to be higher than most. Tv presenter and medical doctor Musa Mthombeni has revealed that he has tested positive for the virus after experiencing minor symptoms.
Musa tweeted how he was not feeling well after suffering from a backache. He then followed up the tweet with a confirmation that it was indeed COVID-19. He shared how he had his suspicions after experiencing multiple symptoms including a headache, back pain as well as a tingle in his throat.
Like many people, he thought the symptoms were a result of the climate change, only to find out that he had contracted the Coronavirus.
“My symptoms were a headache and back pain. Tingle in my throat was non specific because of the change in weather” he wrote.
It seems like the entire Mthombeni household is out of commission for the the next two weeks as wife Liesl Laurie also confirmed that she too has contracted the virus. We wish the couple a speedy recovery.
