Dineo Ranaka Responds To Accusations That She Called Someone “Stupid” Live On Air. Being a radio host can be tricky because even no matter how aggravated you get by some comments, you always have to stand on neutral ground. This has often lead to the termination of some radio hosts because of what they said. Celebrities outspoken like Phat Joe, DJ Fresh and now recently Dineo Ranaka have been called out for contentious content.
Ask A Man is a popular segment on Metro FM where an anonymous caller shares a relationship problem that they are experiencing and the listeners together with host discuss it and try to figure out a solution or come to a conclusion of some sort. After a recent segment of #AskAMan on Metro FM’s The Bridge, Dineo Ranaka was accused of apparently losing her temper.
After a social media user tweeted to the show about how women are “Stupid” for practicing the cultural customs of a man but men don’t do vice versa. An aggravated Dineo responded to the user and she was not impressed to say the least. This is when another user accused her of losing her temper live on air, advising her to teach listeners in a calmer manner.
The tweep pointed out that Dineo didn’t have to go down to the trolls level by using the same language. Ranaka responded to the concerned social media user claiming that she didn’t refer to him as “stupid” to insult him and she is well aware of how to do her work. She continued to explain that she used the word stupid to re-claim it and reuse it just like he did when referring to women.
“I didn’t use the word stupid to insult him. Listen attentively in future. I have reasonably high EQ and fully understand my work, it’s ethic and expectations. I used the word stupid to claim it and reuse it as a compliment to us “Stupid” women” she wrote.
