Pearl Thusi Clears The Air On Possibly Returning To Metro FM. Metro FM has been buzzing with scandals for the past few years, as former radio hosts are slowly telling the horrible treatment that they have been subjected to during their time at the popular station. It was brought to the media’s attention that former employee Pearl Modiadie has been sexually harassed by a senior staff member on numerous occasions.
Pearl confirmed to the media that she was often sexualised by her manager, who made inappropriate jokes about her body in the presence of guests or other employees. Even though the media personality reported the manager to the station manager, no actions were taken and the station denied having any knowledge of the managers sexual misconduct.
“I kept quiet for too long until media picked it up and never have I been grateful for that because it finally gave me the courage to speak out about the sexual harassment I was was subjected to at Metro FM” Modiadie wrote.
We have watched many of our favourite celebs come and go at the station including the likes of Bonang Matheba, Pearl Modiadie, Tbo Touch, DJ Fresh and many more. They may not all have disclosed to the public their reasons for leaving the station, but for those who did, it was never on good terms.
Former Metro FM radio host Pearl Thusi who used to hosted the Saturday breakfast Show alongside Phat Joe is also among those who left the station on a sour note. A tweep shared how much they miss hearing the duo on the airwaves, claiming that Pearl and Joe have would be awesome at holding down one of the most important radio slots of the day which is Midday.
The Queen Sono actress responded to the tweep and poured water on their dream of ever hearing mama panther return to the station, claiming that she would rather die than doing such.
