The life of a celebrity is not as sweet as of may seem, reason being that people feel like it’s okay to disrespect public figures because their lives are already somewhat accessible to them. Bold celebrities such as Bonang Matheba, Boity and Pearl Thusi have been labelled as rude among many other things all because they stand up for themselves.
Entertainment mogul and bussinesswoman Bonang Matheba just gave fans a clear indication that she is not the one to mess with after 22 year old podcaster Rea Gopane, made some wild accusations about B on his podcast. According to Gopane, Scoop Makhatini spilled the beans that the BNG CEO is the one who influenced her former rap boyfriend AKA to start using cocaine.
After multiple attempts to get ahold of Gopane for an apology and retraction of statement, Matheba served Rea with a lawsuit from her lawyers demanding an apology on all social platforms and the sum of R500K on account of defamatory charges. Even after the posting his apology statement and video to Bonang and the latter, the Metro FM radio host let it be known that she still wants her money.
The streets of twitter have since been spilt with some claiming that Bonang is just flexing her muscle on a young “child”, while other approve of B’s actions on account that a 22 year old is considered an adult and he needs to take accountability.
A tweep who showed his support to Bonang made the mistake of dragging Dr Malinga into his statement, which the award winning musician didn’t appreciate at all. According to the tweep, Rea is behaving as though he is dealing with less influential celebs such as Malinga, and he thinks that Bonang should apply more pressure. Malinga responded to the tweep claiming that unlike Bonang, he is all about giving disrespectful people a beat down and he should send a location.

He continued to state that he is not the suing type but rather the a*s kicking type and nobody can survive the power of the famous Dr Malinga high kick.
