Mmusi Maimane Reacts To Fikile Mbalula Blocking Him On Twitter. Since social media became a way of life in these modern times, politics have also gotten very interesting. It’s no secret that not all politicians agree with one another’s opinions, especially when from different political parties and social platforms like twitter have made it easier for us to witness these often catty back and forth arguments.

Mmusi Maimane recently found himself on the wrong side of the peoples favourite politician, ANC Minister of Transport Fikile ‘Fix” Mbalula. This after Mbalula blocked Maimane on twitter and saying that Mmusi is shocked by the development would be an understatement. The leader of MOSA (Movement For One SA) shared a screenshot proving that he is indeed blocked by Fix, and is trying to find out why.

In a follow up tweet, Maimane challenged Fix to adopt a new strategy of representing his political camp in a manner where the people can interact and contest the decisions made, instead of beating around the bush by ducking and diving all concerns. In his opinion, the ANC is not ready to face up to the conversations and work that need to be had about the service delivery of the ANC and other surrounding matters.

You must be able to campaign for the ANC where we can immediately call you on any BS. Running away will not diminish legitimate criticism. The ANC is not match ready” Mmusi wrote.

Mbalula has responded to Mmusi on twitter with a meme confirming that the blocking was not done by mistake. Tweeps have since commented on the low key beef between Fix and Mmusi with mixed reviews. Some have expressed how unimpressed they are bu Mbalula’s alleged immaturity, while others simply laughed off the sassy attitude that the minister serving.
