Actress Zola is the latest to join a star-studded line-up to have graced the sets of Generations; The Legacy. According to reports, she will be playing a gutsy journalist on the show.
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela took to his social media handle to announce the news. According to him, Zola will be playing a journalist by the name of Pamela who is Siyanda’s, played by Kay Sibiya, estranged wife. In the soapie, he too is a journalist who uncovers many of Jack Mabaso’s filth.
Pamela will follow in on her husband’s footsteps by aggravating a few people and get to the truth.
Zola’s achievement is remarkable, looking at the fact that she has only been in the movie industry for just a year. She’d bagged a role on BET’s Isono, playing the character Zoleka Sigcawu.
Speaking to Daily Sun at the time she said, “It’s been a very interesting ride and I’m enjoying it. I feel fortunate and blessed to be able to tap into these different types of mediums when it comes to acting, whether it’s theatre or a location-based series or telenovela.”
