Talented TV and radio personality Thando Thabethe couldn’t hide her emotions after discovering that she did not get a (SAFTA) nomination for her exceptional acting as the lead on Mzansi Magic’s drama series ”Housekeepers season two.’
The full list of nominations of this year’s SAFTA was released on Wednesday, 28 April. We saw a host of celebs including Rami Chuene, Lorcia Cooper, Katlego Maboe and the late Menzi Ngubane get nods for their respective acting and presenting roles. But surprisingly Thando got snubbed and her fans needed to know how this was possible.
Reacting to the snub when her fan account asked, she replied with brokenhearted emojis.
More of the star’s fans expressed their concern, while others told her to keep her head up because one day she will get the recognition she deserves. Radio and TV personality Khuli Roberts told her fans not to worry because an Oscar is bound to come Thando’s way.
