South African actress Phindile Gwala has taken to her Instagram account to reveal that she has an addiction, but the good news is her addiction is not a bad one. Actually, it is far from that at all.

The former Muvhango actress revealed she is addicted to winning. “I have an addiction”, she shared. “it’s called WINNING.”

Over the last two weeks or so, the star has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. A student, identified as Nompilo Mkhize, alleges that, while at Cubana in Pietermaritzburg, mzansi actress Phindile attacked her while taking a video outside whiles waiting for her friend thinking she was recording her.

According to the young lady, Phindile grabbed her phone and went straight to her gallery and deleted the first video she found.

The young lady revealed that was not the end of the story. She added that the actress smashed the phone to the ground, scratched her face, and took off with her driver.

Phindile after being shamed and disgraced, ate the humble pie by apologizing to the young lady and also replaced the phone she damaged.

Speaking to the Daily Suns publications, Nompilo said: “I can confirm that the matter is now under the bridge. The issue between myself and Phindile has been resolved. I met with her on Monday, she apologised and replaced my iPhone.”

Phindile also took to her Facebook account to render apology to the young girl and to all her fans who were disgraced by her actions.

“Over the past few days, the people of this country expressed their feelings following an unfortunate incident involving myself and Nompilo. It is with a sense of humility that I express my gratitude for the constructive criticism, guidance and support I have received from the people of this country of all ages.”

The actress went on to thank Nompilo and her family.

“Equally, I express my sincere appreciation to the family and friends of my sister.

“Nompilo. Despite the hurt and high emotions that ensued after this unfortunate incident, the ubuntu spirit prevailed and brought us together.

Without dwelling much on the legal issues, I do wish to point out that the spirit of ubuntu resulted in both of us withdrawing cases that we had opened against each other,” the post continued in part.

“Indeed, a new chapter has been opened. I believe that with the support of the people of this country, we will put the past behind us. As we move forward, I wish Nompilo all the best in her studies. Once again, I wish to thank the Mkhize family, my family and the people of South Africa for their support and guidance.”
