Phumeza Mdabe Shares The Pain Of Telling Her Son He Will Never See Again. Actress and super mom Phumeza Made has opened up about the challenges that she and her son Mpilo have faced since he was diagnosed with Cancer that resulted in him going blind. As hard as it must be for the little guy, he still continues to defy the odds by doing the things that one would thing a visually impaired person could never do.

Taking to twitter the actress shared the heartbreaking moment of when she had to explain to her son that she would never get his vision back. Phumeza shared that Mpilo will be getting fitted for a new pair of prosthetic eyes of which he was excited for thinking that this means that he will be getting his vision back.

The TV personality shared how shattered she was when having to explain that the prosthetic eyes don’t mean that he will be regaining his vision. As a matter of fact, she had to help him face reality by telling him that he will never be able to see again. This has been a very difficult journey for Phumeza however, she has shown incredible strength amidst the storm.

“Mpilo is getting new prosthetic eyes fitted soon, he screamed and said , I’m gonna see like everyone else??I had to explain that he will never have vision again while a lump sat in my throat and trying my best for him not to hear me crying?? This journey isn’t easy at all” Mdabe wrote.

Mdabe previously shared that her dream is to one day open a school for children who are visually impaired just like her seven year old little boy through the Mpilo Foundation. The Abandoned host shared that she and the foundation are determined to build the institute dedicated in giving children with special needs all the right education tools to go forward and have a bright future just like any other child.

“Big dreams require big sacrifices.Ours is to build a school for visually impaired children like Mpilo through the @mpilofoundationfbc We will push through.We will build this school.Voices of special needs children around the country heard will be heard” Phumeza wrote.
