South African rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known professionally as AKA has finally broken his silence after the burial of his girlfriend Anele.
A few days after the burial of AKA’s girlfriend, Anele, the musician has taken to his page on Instagram and broke his silence. Many have expressed shock after the artist broke his silence concerning the death of his girlfriend. Many were of the opinion that they thought the artist would stay off social media until he’s emotionally healed.

After the death of AKA’s girlfriend, there were many fingers pointing at him. Many accused him of being behind the death of his girlfriend. Regardless of all the claims, AKA has proven to be strong. AKA has taken to his page to release a statement about the incident.
“I have lost the love of my life….and every day feels like a mountain to climb. I miss Anele so much, and I’m heartbroken at the unfulfilled life we had planned together. The tragic loss of Anele has taken a great toll on me, emotionally and psychologically.”
“Insinuations and innuendos made on my personhood have made it even more difficult to process and the strain our families have taken is unspeakable- which is why at this time I choose to retreat to honor my journey, praying those moments of stillness may bring me closer to some clarity.”
“I wish to convey my gratitude to all people who have supported me during this difficult time in my life, my mom Lynn and dad Tony…….” AKA wrote on his page.
