A lady has recounted how a lady and her husband extended a helping a hand when her car broke down on the highway.
The lady shared this lovely piece in the popular South African Facebook group, #ImStaying and social media users are overwhelmed and captivated.
According to her, her car on the Nelson Mandela Boulevard because her engine overheated. She added that she then climbed down the highway to look for water at homes, however, she got back to the car and this benevolent lady and her husband had stopped to help out.
The post she made reads;
“We broke down on the Nelson Mandela Boulevard tonight in our old Austin A40 1952. Engine overheated. Scary place to break down. Climbed down the highway to look for water at homes in Woodstock. Got back to the car and Natalie and her husband stopped to help us. They had passed us and turned around on the highway as ‘it was not a safe place to have a breakdown ‘. I wish that I had taken your number to give you a proper thank you, but I wasn’t thinking properly. If anyone on this group knows Natalie and her husband from Athlone…. please let me know. There truly a exceptionally kind people in Cape Town. Thank you from the bottom of my “
