South African dancer cum amapiano vocalist Kamo Mphela has just dropped her first debut project as an independent artist.
The amapiano vocalist has given her fans an EP featuring 4 tracks to cheer about. The star has been doing very well for herself as a vocalist, with her hit single Nkulunkulu recently hitting a million views on YouTube.
Her new project is made up of collaborations with big names like Vigro Deep, Reece Madlisa, MFR Souls, Major League DJz and many others.
Thanking her supporters for their tremendous support, Kamo revealed what this project means for her career.
“Thank you so much to my fans for riding with me and getting my first video to 1million in just a week! It’s a new record for me and It wouldn’t be possible without your support”, said Kamo Mphela on the excitement of reaching new heights in her career. She said, “My EP Nkulunkulu is only the beginning and I can’t wait to perform on stage soon. I’m also really excited to bring my music and dance fans more dope projects to enjoy in the near future”.
In an interview with podcaster MacG on his YouTube show Podcast and Chill, Kamo revealed that she wants to make the most of her opportunity.
“The fame doesn’t last that long so you have to make the most of it while you still have time. That’s what people don’t understand. It’s not a lifetime thing unless you are legendary.” She revealed.
“Cassper is still the biggest artist but he still has to convince people that he is the best. I don’t want to go through that personally. There’s only so much you can do in your own country. Fill Up was the biggest so what’s next? It’s easy to get to the top but it’s hard to stay there.”
