AKA has reacted to news that the R300 million that was supposed to be disbursed to artistes in South Africa has disappeared.
The award-winning rapper reacted to this news in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on Twitter.
The money was supposed to be given to these artistes to cushion them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He reacted to an initial post that read;
“Arts and Culture Minister, Nathi Mthethwa says the National Arts Council is taking action against senior officials implicated in the mismanagement of funds. It’s been reported that R300 million earmarked to be disbursed to artists during the pandemic has disappeared #sabcnews”
His reaction was;
“300 M’s… ai these guys are brutal …”
